Final Book Cover Blurb and Other Things...

=============

Book II: The Chronicles of Ardis: Reckonings

“Hear the tale of Reshna the far-traveled, hailing from the Lands of Bounty. Hear the words recorded of she with hair like bright copper and eyes like glass-flecked zophrite. Know that this fair one, a mere metal maker’s daughter, stood with those of her bearing, facing forces few others could withstand…”

The final month of the year has come, and in Degna, the capital is preparing for the Feast of Lights when unexpected news of a wave of destruction hits the city. Though as quickly as it appeared, so too does it vanish, by the hands of a familiar benefactor sending the massive pyroclasm into regions unknown…
Meanwhile in the deserts of Dielberen, an archaeological discovery uncovers an ancient mystery written in ash and upheaval, predating many of the planet’s oldest recorded civilizations. Understanding this history-altering deposit will tax those who uncovered it, causing them to seek help within the Scholar’s Guild of Sinsera. But the price may be more than they realized…
In the Ember Wastes, a decade-long pilgrimage comes to an end with the return of the Ashen Sorceress Alceris to her people. Unheeded by the warnings of her daughter, Alceris is confronted with the potential annexation of the Wastes by the Dagdrim Council. Moreover, amidst national disaster, an ancient calamity within a long-forgotten temple complex has awakened, with its sights set upon lands of the living…
Reckoning with the tides of history, scholar initiate, Castris and his friends Maerlas, Dowen, and Kesra, set forth to learn the mystery behind the oldest story in recorded history. From Dielberen to Sinsera, and ultimately Degna and the Ember Wastes, it will become a race to uncover what happened so long ago, and help to set things right, before everything spirals out of control…
